Glasgow city centre is a great place for your Hen Party Weekend to visit. This amazing City has a wealth of shopping, attractions and entertainment venues, there is something for everyone day or night. There are numerous unusual and beautiful architectural buildings all around the City. So you won’t be surprised to hear Glasgow was awarded the prestigious accolade of UK City of Architecture and Design in 1999.

The city centre has three pedestrianised main thoroughfares: Sauchiehall Street, and Argyle Street , running parallel to each other and joined by Buchanan Street which runs from north to south. Along these main streets are shopping malls such as the Sauchiehall Street Centre, the Buchanan Galleries, the stylish and hip Princes Square, the St Enoch Centre, and the stunning atriums of the Argyle Arcade. There is also the weekend Barras market, located in the city’s east end and a stone’s throw south from St. Mungo’s Cathedral. With all that available shopping, is a Weekend break long enough ?

Heading towards the city’s West End, you will also find smaller boutiques and specialised shops, including an interesting array of antique and craft shops, designer homeware boutiques, clothing shops and vintage record stores. Also watch out for the many yearly events and festivals which may be of interest to your Hen Party.

Glasgow has a vibrant nightlife where you and the girls can enjoy any number of stunning restaurants, pubs, clubs and cafes in the city. Many popular bands from “Snow Patrol” to “franz Ferdinand” were discovered here playing in one of the live nightclubs. Hen Party Weekend Activities
